Lauren : No it isn't a good time, can I call you in the morning? Sark : He's there with you, is that it? Though he'd rather be with her. You know, it's quite a charade you two are engaged in. Lauren : I think we both know how dedicated I am to this assignment.
If you have any issues, take it up through the proper channels. Sark : Don't mistake me. It's not your dedication that I question.
Lauren : We'll talk about this later. Sark : You know it's a pity we're traveling separately. We could've used the opportunity to get to know each other better.
Sydney : Yeah, I'm broken up about that too. Sark : You're surprisingly adept at keeping your curiosity in check. Sydney : Don't flatter yourself. Lauren : This better be good. Sark : And a good morning to you, too. Lauren : You paged me on my NSC cell phone.
You know that they track all incoming numbers. Sark : This cell phone's been cloned, so you have nothing to worry about. We've just learned that a freelance munitions expert has created a cutting edge technology, one that he's since sold to one of our rivals. We need you to filter back any CIA intel that might help us get a lock on it.
Lauren : You called me to remind me to do my job? Sark : Darling, it's not like that. Lauren : [sarcastically] Yeah. Lauren : Are you ready for our first job as senior management?
Sark : You're so ambitious, I love it. Lauren : The job's in Vancouver. Requires a breach of a data storage facility. Sark : Really? What's the prize? Lauren : A plasma charge. Next generation destructive power. Sark : I thought those were just theoretical. Lauren : Apparently not in Vancouver. Sark : All right. They force Sark to transfer the money to them, and he is taken on as an operative for the organization.
Sark and Allison are reunited. Working together they capture Lazarey, whose death was faked by Sydney. Torturing him for information, they gain a lead to where Sydney hid a Rambaldi device.
But when they go to retrieve it, Allison is killed by Will Tippin, who had begun a relationship with Francie just prior to her death. Thus Sydney gets the artefact, although Sark does get away. Sark is often partnered with Reed in Covenant operations, and the pair begins an affair. Unhappy with their place within the organization, they carry out the assassinations of the leaders of the six Covenant cells.
For this they are congratulated by second-in-command of the Covenant, McKenas Cole. He appoints them co-leaders of the North American cell. They continue to carry out Covenant directives. They secretly inject him with a tracking device. During a prison transfer, they fake a prison break by a former Covenant operative, who is fatally wounded.
The operative directs Sark to follow Covenant contact protocols to get help. There, they find him enjoying a drink. Sark offers them his cooperation in exchange for his freedom, and they take the deal. Sark works with Sydney and Vaughn to track down their prey, but is kept close watch on. When they chase Anna Espinosa , they thus leave Sark handcuffed.
But Anna eludes them, frees Sark, and reaches an agreement with him. Sark finds a buyer for the device Anna had double-crossed the former Covenant agents for. However, Sydney and Vaughn raid it. Sark and Anna end up using the same escape route, but Sark locks a gate on her, leaving her for Sydney to capture.
Sark then becomes a freelance operative. Working for Sudanese warlord Musari, Sark, under the alias Bob Brown, covertly acquires information from a scientist. While on the operation, with plenty of spare time, he has a brief fling with fellow hotel guest, Lydia Sand.
After successfully completing the operation, he leaves. They hire him, under duress, to help them recover the captive Jack Bristow. Musari had captured Mr. Sark goes to Musari, offering to help him ransom his captives.
A CIA team is secreted aboard his transport. Rachel, who is part of the team, defuses the bomb. It worked, and she memorably teamed up with him to infiltrate an Italian prison in a bid to grab an old Rambaldi amulet. Of course, before long they were on opposing sides, such are the perils of being a freelancer. Sark's libido was also notable, as he could weave his way into the affections of ladies both good and bad.
Not only did he openly declare his love for the murderous, body-thieving Allison Doren - even when she took on Francie's looks - but he also did the naughties with the evil Lauren Reed behind Vaughn's back, and described his experiences as being "deliciously filthy".
Smarmy to the extreme, his knack for survival continued to the very end of Alias. As the last season's finale hurtled to a close, Vaughn let Sark go after he gave up the codes to abort a planned missile strike on various cities.
He was up to his wicked ways again though, as in the very final scene of the series - set several years in the future - Dixon turned up at Sydney and Vaughn's remote loveshack to try to tempt them out of retirement - to track down You Know Who.
